It started with a simple idea:
What if a bunch of wonderful humans came together and changed someone's life — one garden at a time?
The Weedy Garden Makeovers grew from The Weedy Garden community: volunteers, supporters, sponsors and people who simply wanted to help.
Together we've transformed ordinary spaces into productive, beautiful gardens — creating food forests, compost systems, irrigation, wicking beds and places where people can reconnect with their food and with nature.
And now the next garden could be yours.
The winner won't simply receive a collection of plants.
We'll look at the space, the climate, the people who live there and what they dream of creating — and turn that into a garden with a future.
A garden that feeds people.
A garden that teaches.
A garden that grows.
And a garden with a story worth telling.
