THE WEEDY GARDEN MAKEOVERS
A Community of Wonderful Humans across Australia!
Changing People's Lives — One Garden at a Time.
What began as a small YouTube channel has grown into a thriving community project in Australia, inspired by Weedy (David Trood), creator of The Weedy Garden YouTube channel.
The Weedy Garden Makeovers bring together a remarkable community of volunteers, supporters and sponsors—many of whom follow The Weedy Garden online—to help transform the gardens of people who need a helping hand, wherever they may be in AUSTRALIA.
Together we build Permaculture inspired food forests, compost systems, irrigation networks, wicking beds and productive gardens designed to provide food, resilience and hope for years to come.
Whether you live in Far North Queensland, a simple backyard in Broken Hill or a rocky cliff in the Snowy Mountains, we could be coming to you.
What have we done so far?
The videos below show the journey so far — the people, the places, the challenges, and the transformations that brought the Weedy Garden makeovers to life.
Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, donor, sponsor, and viewer who helped make this possible.
