What began as a small YouTube channel has grown into a thriving community project in Australia, inspired by Weedy (David Trood), creator of The Weedy Garden YouTube channel.
The Weedy Garden Makeovers bring together a remarkable community of volunteers, supporters and sponsors—many of whom follow The Weedy Garden online—to help transform the gardens of people who need a helping hand, wherever they may be in AUSTRALIA.
Together we build Permaculture inspired food forests, compost systems, irrigation networks, wicking beds and productive gardens designed to provide food, resilience and hope for years to come.
Whether you live in Far North Queensland, a simple backyard in Broken Hill or a rocky cliff in the Snowy Mountains, we invite you to share your story and apply for a future Weedy Garden Makeover. Read below how you can be selected.
