The Full Weedy Experience
This is the storybook version of The Weedy Garden tour — an afternoon tour of the garden and an evening with Weedy himself, fire crackling under the Southern sky, champagne in hand, and the magic of the garden all to yourselves. Your visit includes a professional photoshoot by Hasselblad Master www.davidtrood.com— the kind of portrait you’ll treasure for a lifetime — plus an overnight stay in the hay bale cottage to finish the experience. This isn’t just a getaway… it’s a memory etched in gold.
Bookings available seven days a week by appointment. Write to theweedygarden@gmail.com to check availability and arrange a date before booking. Price includes cottage for one night. (The cottage is available if requested @ $150 for an extra night.)
Also available for small families (there is one extra double bed).
We are excited to invite you to come on a journey through the heart of our food forest and garden, a space where nature and storytelling converge to create a truly unique experience. Enjoy this personal garden tour, designed to share the magic that unfolds behind the scenes of our captivating YouTube videos.
We have created the perfect getaway. You`ll stay in a delightful little Straw Bale Cottage just a few minutes walk through the trees from The Garden.
Check in from 2 pm - check out by noon. The Garden Tour with Weedy starts around 3pm. As the sun goes down, we`ll drink teas, eat fruit and bake potatoes in the camp fire (weather permitting). The garden and camp fire is ours to experience together under the stars or the moon until you wind your own way back to the cottage.
Mrs Weedy LOVES to share her passion for African drumming if it interests you, or often guest request to see Down the Carrot Hole (The Weedy Garden Movie) together, which is also an option after the garden tour in the little cinema in the cottage. This is especially cozy if it is raining.
The photo shoot will be the following day. Usually we take a trip down the the local swimming hole, Hanging Rock Falls to take the photo in the rain forest. (it`s all defined by the weather).
As the sun begins to set, we gather around a crackling campfire for a cozy taste testing of fresh teas, honey and fruits from the garden. Whatever is ready to eat we eat!
This is not merely a garden tour; it's an invitation to be part of an intimate exploration into the world of Weedy's storytelling garden.
Includes refreshments, baked potatoes from the camp fire (weather permitting) and diverse produce, trees and cuttings from the garden to take home if you are not flying. To secure your memory we will also do a little photo shoot so you get a professional photo. See here: https://www.davidtrood.com. We do that in the rain forest close by the following day.
If it is raining, then nothing will change other than you`ll need an umbrella!
